Tranquil Decor is an interior design studio on the Mornington Peninsula. It takes on whole homes and single rooms, manages the trades through to handover, and puts a ten-year warranty on the finished work. Most of it is residential: living rooms, bedrooms, kids' rooms, studies and bathrooms. The website had to carry the portfolio, because that is what people judge a design studio on before they ring anyone.

Two things were missing. Budget was the first question in every enquiry and it was being answered one email at a time, so the studio spent hours quoting people who were never going to proceed. The finished work was scattered across the site with no way to browse it. We built a price calculator that asks a few questions about the space and returns an estimate, and a projects section that filters.

The portfolio runs the page now. Each project card carries a line about the job and a link through to the rest of it, and the work filters by location as well as by room. The ideas section has room filters along the top and a before and after toggle on the photos. Every way through the site ends at the same short form: name, email, phone and city, and an estimate comes back.

The bar at the top of every page holds the warranty and the promise to manage the whole project, so they are not written into each page separately. On a phone the whole thing collapses into a single column and the consultation button stays in the header.
