What a care plan covers
Four things that go wrong when nobody is looking

Updates and patching
WordPress core, plugins, themes and Node dependencies updated every week, on a staging copy first, with a rollback ready. An unpatched plugin is the most common way a small business site gets defaced, and it is usually one nobody knew was installed.

Backups and recovery
Daily off-site backups kept for thirty days, restored to a test site each month to prove they work. If a host loses a disk or an update goes wrong, the site is back inside an hour and you get a written note of what happened.

Security and uptime
A firewall in front of the site, malware scanning behind it, login attempts rate limited, and uptime checked every minute from three locations. When a check fails, someone here is paged. SSL and security headers stay current so no browser ever warns your customers off.

Changes each month
Hours set aside every month for the jobs too small to quote: a new staff photo, a price change, an extra service page, a form that needs another field. Email it through and it is live the next business day.

Top-rated for three good reasons
Businesses looking for care plans in Australia choose us for reasons we can put a number against.
300+ websites, six years
Enough builds behind us to know what breaks, and enough of them still running to know what lasts. Trade, industrial, ecommerce and B2B.
One team, three disciplines
Design, development and search marketing under one roof. Most businesses this size pay three suppliers who have never spoken to each other, and nobody owns the result.
Published pricing, no lock-in
The price list is on the site before you call, builds are fixed price, and the monthly plans are month to month. You own the domain, hosting and code throughout.
Website maintenance
A website is a running system, not a finished product
The day it launches is the best a site will ever run without attention. After that, plugins age, browsers change, hosts move servers, and someone runs a password list against the login page. None of it announces itself. The first sign is usually a customer saying the form never arrived, or a warning screen in Chrome. A care plan means somebody is watching the site on the days you are busy running the business.
- Updates applied on staging first, so a bad release never reaches customers
- Backups restored and tested monthly, not just stored and hoped for
- Someone paged when the site drops, not an email read on Monday
- A written log of every change, for the day you need to check

Small changes
The jobs too small to quote are the expensive ones
A wrong mobile number, a staff member who left in March, a price from two years ago, a form that stopped emailing anyone. No agency wants to raise an invoice for fifteen minutes of work, so those jobs sit on a list and the site slowly stops telling the truth. Change hours exist to remove the decision. You send an email, it gets done, and the time used is on your monthly note.
- One to eight hours included each month, depending on the plan
- New pages, prices, photos, staff and form fields, no quote needed
- Bigger jobs quoted against the hours you have already paid for
- A monthly note of what changed and what time is left

Website care plans
Frequently asked questions
How much does a website care plan cost?
From A$180 a month, which covers hosting, weekly updates, daily backups, security and an hour of changes. The Business plan at A$350 adds a staging site and three hours. Ecommerce and portal sites with same business day response are A$700. Every plan is month to month, with no exit fee.
Can you maintain a website someone else built?
Yes. Plenty of the sites we look after were built by somebody else. We start with an audit of the site, the hosting and the plugin list, fix anything urgent as a one-off, then move it onto a plan from the next month. WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify and Next.js are all covered.
What happens if the site goes down outside business hours?
Uptime is checked every minute from three locations, and a failed check pages a person rather than filing a ticket. If the whole site is down we start as soon as the alert is picked up, whatever the hour. Smaller faults are picked up the next business day, or the same day on a Priority plan.
Do I have to move off WordPress?
No. We build on WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce or Next.js depending on what the site needs to do. If your current site works and only needs one part fixed, we will say so.
Are we locked into a contract?
No. Builds are fixed price, and the monthly plans are month to month. You own the domain, hosting and code in your own accounts throughout.
