What a customer portal covers
Four things your customers stop ringing about

Ordering and reordering
Their own price list, their order history, and a reorder button that rebuilds last month's order in one click. Standing orders, saved lists and CSV upload for the bigger accounts. The order arrives in your system already priced and already correct.

Job and delivery tracking
Where the job is up to, who is on it, what is still outstanding and when it is due, read from simPRO, AroFlo, Tradify or your own database. It is the status update a customer would otherwise ring your project manager to get.

Invoices and statements
Every invoice, statement and credit note from Xero or MYOB, filed by date, downloadable as a PDF and payable by card or on account. Accounts stop emailing copies, and the customers who pay when reminded can see what is outstanding.

Documents and members-only content
Spec sheets, safety data sheets, certificates, test reports, warranties and contracts, filed by customer and by job. For associations and buying groups, the same library with a membership check on it, so members-only papers stay behind the login.

Top-rated for three good reasons
Businesses looking for customer portals in Australia choose us for reasons we can put a number against.
300+ websites, six years
Enough builds behind us to know what breaks, and enough of them still running to know what lasts. Trade, industrial, ecommerce and B2B.
One team, three disciplines
Design, development and search marketing under one roof. Most businesses this size pay three suppliers who have never spoken to each other, and nobody owns the result.
Published pricing, no lock-in
The price list is on the site before you call, builds are fixed price, and the monthly plans are month to month. You own the domain, hosting and code throughout.
Portal development
Every portal question is a phone call you skip
Where is my order. Can you resend that invoice. What did we pay last time. Do you have the data sheet for that batch. None of those are sales calls. They are admin, and each one interrupts somebody who was doing something else. A portal answers them at two in the morning, from the same systems your staff would have opened to answer them by hand.
- Order and delivery status read from your job or freight system
- Invoices and statements straight out of Xero or MYOB
- Documents filed where the customer expects to find them
- Reordering from history, which is most of a wholesaler's revenue

Retention
A portal makes you harder to leave
Once a customer's price list, order history and documents live in your portal, moving to another supplier means starting the relationship again. Their staff are trained on your screens. Their standing orders are already set up. That is worth more than a loyalty discount, and it costs nothing each month. Usage reporting also shows who has gone quiet, which is usually the first sign of an account on its way out.
- Saved carts, standing orders and approval steps that match how they buy
- Their team trained on your portal rather than a competitor's
- Reporting on who has logged in and who has not
- Separate logins for buyers, approvers and site staff

Frequently asked questions
How much does a customer portal cost?
From A$5,000 inc GST for login, order history, reordering and invoices with one integration. A trade portal with customer pricing, quotes and job tracking starts at A$8,500, and a bespoke portal with custom workflows and single sign-on starts at A$14,000. Every portal is scoped in a paid discovery session first, so the quote is fixed before a line of code is written.
How long does a customer portal take to build?
Six to eight weeks for a starter portal, and ten to sixteen for a trade or custom build. The variable is almost never our end: it is how quickly we get test data, API credentials and a decision on who is allowed to see what. Discovery sorts that out before the build starts.
Can the portal connect to simPRO, Xero or our ERP?
Yes. Xero, MYOB, simPRO, AroFlo, HubSpot, Unleashed and Cin7 are connections we have built before. Anything with a documented API can be connected, and anything without one usually has a scheduled export we can read instead. We check your systems in discovery and tell you which parts are awkward before you commit.
Do I have to move off WordPress?
No. We build on WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce or Next.js depending on what the site needs to do. If your current site works and only needs one part fixed, we will say so.
Are we locked into a contract?
No. Builds are fixed price, and the monthly plans are month to month. You own the domain, hosting and code in your own accounts throughout.
