Websites for manufacturers
Manufacturing website design for buyers who check before they call.
A procurement officer with three suppliers on a shortlist reads your site before anyone rings you. We build manufacturing websites that put processes, capacity, certifications and lead times where that buyer looks, with a quote form your estimator can price from. Builds start at A$2,000.

What a manufacturing build covers
Four parts of a manufacturing company website design

A page for each process
One page per process: injection moulding, CNC machining, powder coating, whatever you run. Each opens with what an engineer wants to know, which is materials, size limits, tolerances, batch sizes and typical lead time. A buyer who searched for one process should land on that process. Most manufacturer sites put all of it in a paragraph under Services and leave the engineer to ring and ask.

Quote requests an estimator can price
The usual contact form asks for a name and a message, so the first reply from your office is a list of questions. We build the form around what your estimator asks on the phone: the part or drawing, material, quantity, finish and the date it is needed. Drawings attach to the request. Added to the site you already have, a form like that starts at A$2,000 and takes about 14 days.

Catalogues and repeat orders
If you make a standard range, buyers want to find a part by its number and download the data sheet without filling in a form first. We build catalogues with search, filters and a PDF for each product. For customers who order the same parts every month, a login showing their prices and order history saves a phone call at both ends. Stock and lead times can be read from Katana, Unleashed or MRPeasy.

Manufacturers in Melbourne's south-east
Greater Dandenong has more than 1,300 manufacturers by the ABS count, and a buyer there can get a second quote from a few streets away. The Dandenong page explains how we build for that market: who the buyers are, what they check and what a site costs. The method is the same for a plant in Geelong, Newcastle or western Sydney.

Top-rated for three good reasons
Businesses looking for manufacturing website design choose us for reasons we can put a number against.
300+ websites, six years
Enough builds behind us to know what breaks, and enough of them still running to know what lasts. Trade, industrial, ecommerce and B2B.
One team, three disciplines
Design, development and search marketing under one roof. Most businesses this size pay three suppliers who have never spoken to each other, and nobody owns the result.
Published pricing, no lock-in
The price list is on the site before you call, builds are fixed price, and the monthly plans are month to month. You own the domain, hosting and code throughout.
How buyers shortlist
What a buyer checks before sending a manufacturer an RFQ
Industrial buying rarely starts with a phone call. Someone in purchasing or engineering is told to find two or three suppliers for a part, and they go looking with a list of questions. Can you run the process and hold the tolerance? Do you have the capacity, the certification and the insurance? Do you already supply a business like theirs? They read your site for the answers. When the answers are missing they do not ring to ask, they move to the next name. On major projects a similar check runs through ICN Gateway, where project teams review supplier profiles and capability statements before deciding who is invited to tender. Your website and that profile should say the same things.
- Processes, materials and size limits written on the page itself
- ISO 9001 and other certificates as downloads, with expiry dates
- The industries you supply and your typical batch sizes
- A capability statement that matches your ICN Gateway profile

Capability over brochure
Why a capability page beats a brochure site
Most manufacturer websites were written as brochures: a company history, a mission statement, a photo of the building. None of that helps a buyer decide whether to send a drawing. A capability page is duller and works better. It lists the machines, the envelope each one handles, the materials you stock and the standards you work to, laid out so it reads on a phone. If you hold an Australian Made licence, the logo belongs beside the products it covers. The licence comes from Australian Made Campaign Limited, starts at A$300 plus GST a year and applies to registered products, so it should not sit in the footer of every page. You have to be realistic about what a website can do. It will not win the job, but it can get you the request.
- A machine list with capacity and work envelope for each machine
- Materials held in stock and the standards you work to
- Photos of your own floor and finished parts, with no stock images
- The Australian Made logo shown only against licensed products

Frequently asked questions
How much does manufacturing website design cost?
From A$2,000 for a five-page site, A$4,500 for a capability or catalogue site of up to 20 pages, and A$7,500 where the build includes quoting tools, a customer portal or ecommerce. Manufacturers with several processes mostly end up in the middle tier. The price is fixed before work starts, and the website audit that comes before the quote is free.
Do you only do website design for manufacturers?
No. We also build for trade contractors, wholesalers and professional firms. Ninefingers has been operating for six years and has built more than 300 websites. What we bring to a manufacturer is a method: start from the buyer's questions, then the estimator's, and build the pages around both. The detail of your processes we learn from you, and you check it before it is published.
Can you visit our factory?
No. We are a remote team with no office in Australia, and we work in Australian business hours over video call. A checklist replaces the factory visit: someone on your floor photographs the machines and finished parts on a phone, and you send the capability statement you already have. It works well enough, though getting decent photos out of a busy plant takes some chasing.
Will a new manufacturing website bring in more RFQs?
It might, and nobody honest will promise it. In our experience most visitors to a manufacturer's site already have the company name from a referral, a tender list or a sales call, and they are checking it. A better site changes how many of those people go on to send a drawing. Search traffic is separate monthly work, which starts at A$1,200.
Can the website connect to Katana, Unleashed or MRPeasy?
Yes, each of them has an API we can work with. Stock levels, lead times and customer pricing can be read from the system you already run, and web orders or quote requests written back so nobody keys them in twice. Integrations belong to the Enterprise tier from A$7,500 and are scoped before we quote. Sometimes a nightly export does the same job for a lot less money.
How long does a manufacturing web design project take?
A five-page site goes live 21 days after we have your content. Capability and catalogue sites take longer, and we give you the date with the quote. The hold-up is nearly always content: machine lists, certificates, photos of real work. We send a checklist on day one and can draft from an existing capability statement, so your production manager only has to correct it.
